who we are

CSBM History

In 2007 Stephen McBeath Developments Pty Ltd was established for the purpose of creating house and land packages. In that time Stephen McBeath has developed a number of quality but affordable homes that have been sold to families across the Hunter.

In 2015 CSBM Real Estate was established so that Stephen McBeath could assist vendors through one of the most important processes that they will ever undertake in their life. With his industry knowledge he can travel through this journey with you to make the process easier and less stressful for everyone involved.

about our name

A lot of people are curious about our name CSBM. Well it’s quite simple. My sons name is Cameron Stephen, my name is Stephen Bruce and our surname is McBeath. If you put all of the initials together you get CSBM.

about our director

The McBeath family has been involved in the building industry for decades, with my father being a builder/carpenter and my brother following in his footsteps. I can still remember walking around building sites as a young boy in awe of the building process. I turned to a different trade, completing my studies and becoming a licenced electrician in the 1970’s.

With the passion for real estate embedded into me at a young age it was inevitable that I would eventually take this passion and turn it into reality. So, in 2006 I decided to try my hand at property development. I’ve been involved in the business ever since and have learnt many lessons in the business especially the building process and pitfalls.​

I then decided to further my real estate training, obtaining the necessary qualifications to gain my Real Estate Agents Licence and my Auctioneers Licence. I have a vast amount of knowledge to assist anyone wanting to get into the real estate market. Whether it be a first home buyer, someone moving up to a larger family home, someone wanting to downsize or for the astute investor. I have the communication skills to be able to understand your needs and to make the sale process as smooth as possible. ​

Stephen has always had the philosophy that you ‘get a good days pay for a good days work’.

In saying that, at CSBM Real Estate we have kept our sale commissions to a minimum so that good quality and hard work to sell your home or investment property doesn’t cost you a small fortune.

There is no payment up front as our commission is paid on the settlement of the property.


Our commission for the sale of your home or investment property is as follows:

  • 2% of the sale price (incl GST)
  • All advertising
  • A plan of your home
  • A virtual walk through of your home and Professional photographer
  • There is no vendor marketing or hidden extras.
